Application to VCAT
Someone applies to VCAT to resolve a dispute or make a decision. If we’re able to accept the application, we open a case.

Everyone involved in a case (called ‘parties’) needs to prepare to come to VCAT. There are documents to organise and things to do as part of the legal process.
