Posted on 23 Mar 2016

We’ve listened to feedback from people who use our Planning and Environment application forms and are making some important changes.

Updated application forms will be available on 4 April 2016.

Among the key changes, permit applicants applying for review will:

  • no longer have to provide a listDefinitionA List is an area in VCAT that deals with cases of a similar nature. For example, the Residential Tenancies List decides cases between tenants and landlords, and the Civil Claims List handles disputes about buying or selling goods and services. of the objectors who registered with the council. You simply have to advise us whether notice was given under section 52 of the Planning and Environment Act 1987
  • only be able to amend the permit application plans after you have given notice of your application for review. VCAT directs you how to give this notice in the initiating orders we make upon receiving your application.

The updated forms also require applicants to give us more details about the need for a Cultural Heritage Management Plan.

The forms will be available from our Forms and guides section
