New online forms now available

New online forms for applications to VCAT’s Human Rights and Review and Regulation ListDefinitionA List is an area in VCAT that deals with cases of a similar nature. For example, the Residential Tenancies List decides cases between tenants and landlords, and the Civil Claims List handles disputes about buying or selling goods and services. are now available.

The new forms:

  • are easier to understand than previous forms and are faster to complete. Only the necessary fields appear on screen, based on your previous answers
  • automatically save after each page is complete, making it easy to return to the form later without losing information you have already entered
  • prompt you if you miss a step or enter incorrect information, like an email address without the @ symbol or an ABN with the wrong number of digits.

Fees are calculated automatically and can be paid online.

There is instant confirmation – no need to wonder if VCAT has received your form. We will also email you a summary of the application.

The login account you create saves finished forms for 30 days and incomplete forms for 180 days, for you to return to later.
